Winter is arguably the worst month to own a car. You need to dig it out of the snow almost every day, worry about parking bans, and watch as it gets progressively dirtier and dirtier as the long winter months drag on. Let’s face it. There’s enough to worry about once winter hits that you don’t want to worry about whether or not your car may break down. Sometimes you really can’t help it, but in many cases you can. Fall is the perfect time to give the car a check-up so that you feel comfortable driving it in the winter. While it’s an awful experience to break down during the hot summer months, the frigid winter months are really no better.
