You can become a truck driver with a license and some experience, but the job requires a different mindset as it can be prolonged hours of boredom mixed with exciting moments.

You can always get the company of other truck drivers when you park at stations for refreshing or catching up with the latest baseball scores on TV and tucking in. There are husband and wife teams trucking for the same company and looking for holidays together.
There are companies that pay more than usual for teams and are always looking out for two people who gel well and put in long hours. In many cases, couples take up the job if they are willing.
Becoming a truck driver requires some conditions and if you don’t conform to them you could be barred from service. Being an alcoholic, felon or a drug abuser would automatically put you out of reckoning when you apply for truck driver jobs.
Going to truckling school is an ideal step to begin and get a certification like a CLD license that you are ready to hit the road for trucking companies. They also pay you to go through school and put in 148 to178 hours to qualify as a truck driver.
